Local 1426 was chartered in 1944 as a utility local, then merged into an inside and outside construction local. It has offices in Fargo and Grand Forks and currently has 900 members. Local 1426 serves eastern North Dakota and the 16 northwestern counties of Minnesota, doing inside construction, outside construction and utility work.
